Bimhuis 25: stories of twenty-five years at the Bimhuis

Interviews with and stories of local and foreign musicians who gave concerts or participated in workshops in the Bimhuis in Amsterdam, writers on jazz and listeners. The book tells the story of 25 years Bimhuis, the centre in Amsterdam for, mainly improvising, jazzmusic. The result is oral history, stories, meditation on music or personal impressions but the book also offers an overview of 25 years improvising musicians and their organisations as SJIN or BIM.
