Bulgaria is a premier European birding destination, with hotspots like the Burgas Wetlands (Poda, Atanasovsko), Lake Srebarna, and Cape Kaliakra offering incredible migration views of pelicans and raptors, especially in autumn. The Eastern Rhodopes are ideal for vultures, while coastal lakes like Durankulak are top wintering spots for the rare Red-breasted Goose.
